Exchange Scholarship
Scholarship applicants generally need a GPA of at least 3.40 or a ranking within the top 20%. In-service students and students enrolled in in-service programs are not eligible.
- Category A: up to NT$15,000 per month
- Category B for designated countries: up to NT$25,000 or NT$30,000 per month
- Maximum funding period: five months
Scholarships are limited, and the final number of recipients and funded months will be determined by the review committee. Students willing to participate without funding must select the “self-funded if scholarship is not awarded” option in both the online system and application documents.
Passing NTHU’s internal selection only grants nomination eligibility; it does not guarantee admission by the host university. Before selecting preferences, students must verify each university’s available quota, academic-field restrictions, language requirements, exchange period, and possible impact on graduation.
For forms and complete requirements, please refer to the official NTHU announcement and the University-Level Overseas Exchange webpage.
Note: This is the university-level exchange route, not a college-level or University System of Taiwan exchange program. Some academic-year references in the official announcement may have been carried over from an earlier notice; applicants should confirm the scholarship assessment period and other unclear details with their department or the Office of Global Affairs.
