The 2024 Autumn and 2025 Spring exchange program will open to receive applications from September 30th to October 6th. 

If you want to apply for it, please fill out the Appendix One application, go on the system fill in the information, and print out the application and the required documents to 414 office in TSMC building from September 30th before October 6th, 15:00 p.m

• Eligibility

1. Currently registered as an NTHU sophomore bachelor’s degree student or above.
2. The GPA grade of the last academic year was 3.20 or ranked in the top 50% of the class.
3. Foreign Language proficiency needs to be achieved. (See Appendix Two)
4. International Students and Overseas Chinese students can’t join the exchange program in their national country.
5. Students can only receive one scholarship, If you have already been awarded a scholarship from NTHU(TypeA or B), you can only choose to receive it or the exchange scholarship, if you received the exchange scholarship then the original NTHU scholarship will be stopped.

• Application

1. For the application form, Please fill out Appendix One and fill out information from the link  http://oga-exchange.vm.nthu.edu.tw/outexchange/index/index/puid/11221/lang/en (from Sep.30th) and printout as well. I have provided English explanations using the commenting feature in Appendix One. Please refer to them. If you can't see them, you can refer to the PDF file. After filling out the form, please consult the attached video on how to remove the comments.

         Please attach the following documents to the table in Appendix one

1. The transcript of every semester with the ranking.
2. Study plan during the exchange program (In Mandarin or English, each school needs to attach a study plan, if you apply to 10 schools then you need to attach 10 study plans.
3. Photocopy of the Transcript or certificate of Foreign Language proficiency (The scores must have been taken within two years of matriculation to be valid, and can’t be replenished
4. A photocopy of your passport (Stick on the application form
5. A photocopy of your student ID card (Stick on the application form)
6. Recommendation letter from a teacher in NTHU
7. Other: Related documents for evaluation

  • Please don’t just fill out the popular country, at least fill out 10 universities from different ranks.

  • The exchange program may be canceled or changed to an online course, due to COVID-19.
  • If you go to another university for the exchange program with an exchange scholarship; your scholarship offered by NTHU will be stopped.
